Works by emerging, (now well-established) Australian artists were sourced and commissioned for the collection. With a strategically simple placement of works in the open-design of the offices, the works not only speak to each other conceptually but function as an important and strategic conversation-starting point for the directors with clients and guests.

Ferrier Hodgeson wanted inexpensive but museum quality art to add a visual and intellectual edge to their new offices in Sydney’s iconic Grosvenor Place. The aim was to reflect the partnership’s strong, progressive attitude to its own business – already exemplified in the move to new premises – with art that has resulted from a parallel, but creative, process on the part of artists.
